Finding unexpected
family history connections is great and makes me want to research as far as
possible in the new line. Who knows what unexpected jewels can be found? Doing
research is like a cross between reading a who-done-it and putting together a
jigsaw puzzle. Come to think of it, I like doing both of those things.
What I want
to do here, though, is to write about social history which will be of general
interest while also tying into the research I am doing to put my family in their
historical milieu. Work is currently ongoing on a new topic which will be in my
next post.
